“Kankash” is a monthly private screening event showcasing Iranian films. The goal is to highlight authentic and well-crafted Iranian cinema, offering insights into the social and cultural issues and daily challenges faced by average Iranians.
To deepen the understanding of each film, one or two critics analyze various aspects such as form, content, characterization, and script after each screening. This objective, fair, and non-judgmental evaluation provides a platform for diverse perspectives and opinions, fostering a civil society where everyone’s rights are respected and upheld.
