Love came and flew as blood in my veins,
emptied me of myself and filled me with beloved,
each part of my being she conquered,
now a mere name is left to me and the rest is she.

Abusa'id Abolkhayr

One of the most original aspects of Iranian culture and civilization is mysticism or Sufism. If one day, each country wants to give the world what it has created and is dear to it, Egypt would come up with its mathematics, France would bring its law, Germany would offer its industry, Britain comes with its subtlety and politics, and Iran offers its own literature and mysticism.

For this purpose, it has been for six years now that Feast of Love's monthly programs are held in recognition of the mysticism and the great thoughts of Iranian mystics in Dallas and Houston.
So far, we have systematically analyzed the doctrine of the following personalities:

Rumi, Masnavi,
Farīd ud-Dīn Attar of Nishapur, The Conference of the Birds,
Abū-Sa'īd Abul-Khayr, 'Asrar al-Tawhid, (Taste of Time)
Abu’l-Ḥasan Karaqani, (Written on the Sea)
Sama dance
